It has been a significant month for CONDUCTR. Following recognition in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders 2025, where founders Peter Cliff and Jos van der Steen received The International Award for global innovation, the company has announced the launch of its new Middle East hub.

This will be CONDUCTR’s third regional base alongside the UK and the US, extending its reach into one of the fastest-growing markets for immersive, technology-powered experiences.

Why now?

According to CEO Peter Cliff, the timing reflects both regional maturity and growing demand.

“The region is maturing. For years, the UAE has been building and experimenting, finding its feet in the attractions and entertainment space. Now it knows exactly what it wants to do, and it is doing it at scale. With Disney’s announcement in Abu Dhabi, it is clear the Middle East has become a major global player.”

Investment across the GCC continues to accelerate, and the region is experiencing rapid growth in tourism and leisure. For CONDUCTR, this represents new opportunities to bring creativity and technology together in ways that redefine the visitor experience.

Growing with purpose

The new hub is designed to strengthen relationships with existing clients and enable closer collaboration with operators and partners across the region.

“The Middle East is a relationship-driven region,” Pete explains. “It is about being there, collaborating, and building trust. We are already working with major operators and brands, and having a regional hub allows us to meet that demand properly. It is about putting our money where our mouth is.”

From concept development and design through to technical innovation and delivery, CONDUCTR is already active across the GCC. Establishing a presence in the region provides the ability to support projects end-to-end with faster mobilisation, local collaboration, and ongoing post-installation support.

Looking ahead

Cliff views the move as a natural step in CONDUCTR’s long-term growth strategy.

“Our goal has always been to become the industry leader in technology-powered experiences,” he says. “This is part of that journey. Every growing business reaches a point where you have to take a big leap and invest in the regions that are driving the industry forward. The Middle East is one of those regions.”

With large-scale design projects already completed in Saudi Arabia and installation work in the UAE, the expansion reinforces CONDUCTR’s commitment to the market and to the creative and technological innovation reshaping it.

“It is an exciting time,” Cliff adds. “The minds driving development in the Middle East are ambitious and genuinely trying to innovate. They are pushing the industry to evolve, and that is exactly the kind of environment we want to be part of.”

As CONDUCTR strengthens its global network across the UK, the US and now the Middle East, one thing remains consistent: a focus on creating experiences that connect people through creativity and technology.
