We’re on the lookout for a People Business Partner who will play a critical role in enabling CONDUCTR’s next stage of growth. Partnering with senior leaders and managers, you’ll drive performance, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure people practices are commercially aligned as we scale. This is not an administrative HR role, it is a strategic, hands-on partnering position focused on organisational effectiveness, talent development and risk management in a fast-growth environment.
Salary: circa £55,000
Strategic Business Partnering
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers
• Translate business strategy into practical people plans
• Support workforce planning aligned to growth forecasts
• Contribute to organisational design decisions
• Coach leaders on structure, capability and team effectiveness
Performance & Talent Management
• Own and evolve the company-wide performance enablement framework
• Lead pay review cycles
• Support managers with goal setting aligned to strategic priorities
• Identify high-potential talent and succession pipelines
• Build structured development and progression pathways
Leadership & Manager Capability
• Coach managers on leadership, feedback and accountability
• Design and deliver practical management development initiatives
• Support new manager transitions
• Embed a high-performance, feedback-driven culture
Employee Relations & Risk
• Lead ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability)
• Provide commercially sound and legally compliant guidance
• Ensure consistency and fairness across decisions
• Mitigate employment risk as the organisation scales
Change & Organisational Effectiveness
• Support change initiatives including restructuring and team evolution
• Drive engagement through effective communication and consultation
• Use people data to identify trends and risks
• Improve team performance through targeted interventions
Reward & Policy Development
• Support salary benchmarking and banding frameworks
• Contribute to reward philosophy development
• Review and evolve people policies to reflect business maturity
• Ensure alignment between performance and reward
• Managers are confident and capable people leaders
• Performance conversations are consistent and robust
• High-potential talent is identified and developed
• ER cases are managed professionally and proportionately
• Organisational changes are well-structured and low risk
• People strategy clearly supports commercial objectives
• 5+ years’ HR experience, including partnering at senior level
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Demonstrable experience managing complex ER cases
• Experience designing or owning performance frameworks
• Confident influencing senior stakeholders
• Experience working in a scaling or high-growth

• CIPD Level 5 or 7
