Senior Concept Artist

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Senior Concept Artist to join our Creative and Media teams. You’ll be joining a diverse team that brings to life concepts blending imagination, art, and future-tech to create groundbreaking attractions, events, products, and experiences. Whether through pure illustration or photo manipulation, your work will set the standard for our visual storytelling and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ·Lead Concept Development: Create ideation sketches, concept visuals, storyboards, and high-quality key renders that define the visual direction of our projects.

  1. ·Production and Marketing Assets: Develop polished production concepts and high-quality 2D marketing assets that align with project goals.

·Advanced Rendering: Produce high-quality renders and concept visuals demonstrating a deep understanding of scale, lighting techniques, and materials.

·Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, providing clear artistic direction and support to ensure cohesive project outcomes.

·Project Leadership: Drive active projects and bid/proposal work, ensuring innovative and creative solutions to technical challenges.

·Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level concept artists, fostering an environment of learning and artistic growth.

·Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility to meet business demands and deliver outstanding results on time and on budget.

·Strategic Vision: Contribute to the strategic vision of projects, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and client expectations.

·Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards for artistic output, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback.

·Innovation and Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and techniques, continuously bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the team.

·Client Interaction: Engage with clients to present concepts, gather feedback, and refine visual directions based on client needs and expectations.

You should have:

·Experience: Extensive experience with Photoshop or similar tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and high-quality work.

·Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of multidisciplinary contributors, including technical artists and 3D artists, to define and achieve the visual goal and intent.

·Artistic Mastery: Full understanding of visual design principles, including colour, light, composition, and scale.

·Versatility: Strong ability to work with a variety of art styles and technical specifications.

·Passion: A deep passion for themed entertainment and immersive experiences.

·Technical Skills: Proficiency with industry-standard software and tools, including advanced knowledge of 3D modelling software (e.g., Blender, ZBrush) and experience with VR/AR applications.

·Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

·Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical and creative challenges efficiently.

·Education: A degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, or a related field is preferred, with additional certifications or training in relevant areas being a plus.
