About this role
As a Junior Creative at CONDUCTR, you will play an important role in the conceptualisation, design, and development of innovative experiences and products. Reporting directly to the Creative Director and working closely with our Creative Leads, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment where your creativity and technical skills will contribute to creating unforgettable experiences for our clients and their audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Generate innovative ideas and develop concepts that align with client objectives and CONDUCTR's mission.
- Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the creative process, bringing fresh and imaginative ideas to the table.
- Client Concepts: Develop and refine client concepts, ensuring they meet the brief and exceed expectations.
- Client Presentations: Create slick, compelling presentations to communicate concepts and designs to clients effectively.
- Design Documentation: Manage and maintain design documentation, ensuring all project details are accurately recorded and updated.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into designs.
- Concept Art Development: Oversee the concept art development process, ensuring visuals accurately represent the intended design and experience.
- Emerging Technologies: Explore and integrate emerging technologies into experiential designs, enhancing the physical space and overall guest experience.
- Site Visits: Travel to client sites and locations as required, ensuring designs are feasible and aligned with the physical space.
You should have:
- Experience: Whilst an entry level position, prior experience and/or knowledge in themed entertainment, experiential design, museums, exhibitions, or experiential technology an advantage.
- Skills: Strong design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. Hand sketching, and an ability to think and communicate creatively is important.
It would be great if you have:
- Knowledge of other design software such as Sketch-up, Blender, Figma useful.
- A portfolio demonstrating design work for physical spaces enhanced with technology is highly desirable.
- A passion for/experience in Themed Entertainment, Cruise/Hospitality and Immersive Experiences.
