2026 marks the next chapter in our ongoing partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Innovation Team.

Following our work on Norwegian Aqua, we returned to help shape a new wave of guest experiences aboard Norwegian Luna. This collaboration builds on a shared ambition to push cruise ship design beyond passive entertainment, creating environments where interaction, immersion and play sit at the heart of the guest journey.

Working across multiple zones, our role combined interactive design, masterplanning and experience delivery. The result is a series of connected, high-energy attractions that transform the ship’s upper decks into a destination in their own right.

Glow Court

Following the debut of the world’s first outdoor interactive LED sports court on Norwegian Aqua in 2025, Glow Court returns on Norwegian Luna with an expanded suite of content.

We developed new media, refined gameplay mechanics and introduced a range of games designed specifically for younger guests. The experience builds on the core principle of responsive environments, where lighting, sound and real-time feedback turn physical activity into a fully immersive experience.

Designed for durability in a marine environment while maintaining high-impact visuals, Glow Court continues to demonstrate how interactive technology can unlock underutilised deck space and drive repeat engagement.

Moon Climber

Moon Climber takes the traditional ropes-and-obstacle-course format and enhances it through interactive experience design.

Spanning multiple levels, the attraction blends physical challenges with digital interactivity, introducing a gamification layer designed to enhance engagement, encourage replayability and create shared moments. Guests can choose from the simple and fast-paced Speed Run, the competitive Team Battle, or the evolving Quest game modes.

Without the need for sign-ups, tutorials or scoreboards, players are free to start or join games at any time, or enjoy the course independently of the gamification layer. The design balances accessibility and challenge, ensuring it appeals to both younger guests and adults, while integrating seamlessly into the wider ship environment.

Luna Midway

Luna Midway brings an amusement park sensibility to the open deck through a fully masterplanned outdoor entertainment zone.

Inspired by classic carnival experiences, the space features a collection of reimagined midway games, designed with a contemporary visual identity and built for high throughput in a cruise environment. The area has been carefully planned to maximise guest flow, visibility and spectator engagement, ensuring it performs both as an attraction and as a social hub.

By combining spatial design, interactive systems and cohesive theming, Luna Midway reinforces the role of masterplanning in creating destinations within destinations.

From interactive sports environments to digitally enhanced adventure courses and fully realised outdoor entertainment zones, this project reflects a broader shift in cruise ship design towards immersive, guest-led experiences.

As our partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line continues to grow, so does the ambition. Norwegian Luna represents another step forward in redefining what entertainment at sea can be.
